Afghanistan’s rule of fear

The billions invested by the international community during the 20 years of Western occupation in Afghanistan have not served to pacify the country or to consolidate a minimum democracy. The Taliban have returned to power to implement again an Islamic Emirate, in which religion is once again the law for millions of citizens.
